The lamps are lit, but the house feels wrong tonight. Tremors shake the walls. Ash-dark clouds drift past the moon. The family believes the larēs — the spirits who guard every Roman household — are restless, and must be appeased at the shrine before dawn.
Seven puzzles stand between you and a safe dawn. Solve one, and the night moves toward morning — until, at the end, one final word will settle it.
